Clitoral toys don’t all work the same way. Some vibrate through a small tip, some use pulses of air, some are worn hands-free, and some spread vibration over a broader head. The six picks below each represent a different way of stimulating the clitoris, so you can choose by the kind of sensation you’re after rather than by a ranking.
This page is about choosing a product. If you want to know how clitoral stimulation works, how to use a clitoral toy, or what research says about vibration versus air-pulse, our guide to clitoral vibrators covers that in full.
Quick picks
- Simple bullet, no app: SVAKOM Tulip
- Compact bullet with app control: Lovense Exomoon
- Air-pulse with app control: Lovense Tenera 2
- Wearable, hands-free: Lovense Ferri
- Broad-contact compact wand: SVAKOM Mini Emma Neo
- Licking-style motion with suction and vibration: SVAKOM Klitty
How these clitoral toys differ
Bullets: small and focused
A bullet concentrates vibration in a small tip, so you can place it exactly where you want it and move it easily. Tulip and Exomoon are both bullets. Tulip is run from a single button on the toy. Exomoon has a button too, and adds an app.
Air-pulse: pressure waves instead of vibration
An air-pulse toy, often called a suction toy, places a soft opening over the clitoris and creates rhythmic changes in air pressure. Strictly speaking it isn’t a vibrator, but it’s often shopped for alongside them. Tenera 2 is the air-pulse pick here. Our clitoral vibrator guide explains how the two kinds of sensation differ and what the research can and can’t say about them.
Wearables: hands-free
A wearable stays in place on its own, so your hands are free. Ferri sits inside your underwear and is held by a magnetic cap on the outside. For more wearable options, see our guides to wearable vibrators and panty vibrators.
Wands: broad contact
A wand spreads vibration over a larger, rounded head rather than a point. Some people prefer that when focused stimulation feels too direct. Mini Emma Neo is a compact wand.
Combination toys: more than one sensation
Klitty combines a licking motion with suction and vibration. It suits people who want to explore layered sensations rather than one kind of stimulation.

The picks
SVAKOM Tulip: the simple bullet
Tulip is a compact bullet vibrator with 10 vibration modes and one-button control. It has no app, so there is nothing to pair or set up. SVAKOM rates it IPX7 and lists a charging time of 1 hour. Its product page gives two different battery-life figures, so we haven’t listed one.
It may suit you if you want something small and straightforward, without a phone in the loop. If you’re choosing your first toy, our beginner guide may help. It’s a focused tip, so it won’t give broad contact.
Lovense Exomoon: the compact app-controlled bullet
Exomoon is a lipstick-shaped bullet for external use. It has a control button on the toy, and in the Lovense Remote app Lovense lists unlimited vibration patterns, music sync, sound activation, and close-range and long-distance partner control. It is rated IPX7, Lovense lists 2.5 to 3 hours of continuous use, and its user guide says it takes about 125 minutes to charge fully.
It may suit you if you want a discreet, travel-friendly bullet with the option of app control. For more on app and partner control, see our guide to remote control vibrators.
Lovense Tenera 2: the app-controlled air-pulse pick
Tenera 2 is an air-pulse clitoral stimulator rather than a vibrator. Lovense lists unlimited suction patterns in its app. Its specifications list an IPX7 rating, a battery life of up to 1 hour 18 minutes and a charging time of 70 minutes, and its user guide gives about 70 minutes to charge fully. Lovense states a maximum noise level of 43 dB; we haven’t measured it.
It may suit you if you’re curious about air-pulse sensation and want app control. If you’re deciding between air-pulse and vibration, read our clitoral vibrator guide first.
Lovense Ferri: the wearable pick
Ferri is a small external vibrator that you place inside your underwear, held by a magnetic cap on the outside. It has an ON/OFF button, 7 preset patterns and 3 intensity levels, and the Lovense Remote app adds unlimited patterns and partner control. It is rated IPX7. Lovense says a 60-minute charge gives 195 minutes of use, and its user guide says it takes about 60 minutes to charge fully.
It may suit you if you want hands-free clitoral stimulation, alone or with a partner in control. Fit depends on your underwear: Lovense notes that snug underwear will usually hold it better. Our guide to panty vibrators compares it with other ways of wearing a toy.
SVAKOM Mini Emma Neo: the broad-contact wand
Mini Emma Neo is a compact wand massager with 5+1 vibration modes and 10 intensity levels. It pairs with the SVAKOM App for custom settings and long-distance partner control. SVAKOM rates it IPX7 and lists a battery life of 2 hours on a 1.5-hour charge.
It may suit you if small tips feel too direct and you’d rather have vibration spread over a larger area, in a size that’s easier to store and travel with than a full-size wand.
SVAKOM Klitty: the licking-style pick
Klitty combines a tongue-style licking motion with suction and vibration. On the toy, SVAKOM lists 10 licking-and-vibration modes and 3 suction modes, and the SVAKOM App adds separate control of each and long-distance play. It is rated IPX6, which SVAKOM describes as “strong rinse resistant”, so it’s suitable for splashes and rinsing but not for submersion. SVAKOM lists a battery life of 1 hour on a 2-hour charge.
It may suit you if you want to explore a combination of sensations rather than one. SVAKOM lists its weight as 280 g, and the 1-hour stated battery suits shorter sessions.
How to choose
Start with the sensation you already like
If focused, pinpoint stimulation works for you, start with a bullet. If direct contact feels like too much, a broader wand head may feel better. If you’re curious about something other than vibration, look at air-pulse or the licking-style combination. Our clitoral vibrator guide explains direct and indirect stimulation in more detail.
Hands-free or handheld
Ferri is the only wearable here. The handheld picks give you more control over placement and pressure.
App or no app
Tulip has no app, so there’s no account and no pairing. The other five can be controlled from an app, which adds custom patterns and partner control. For how app control and privacy work, see our guide to remote control vibrators.
Water and charging
Five picks are rated IPX7, which the makers describe as submersible. Klitty is IPX6: fine for rinsing and splashes, not for the bath. Charge times run from about an hour (Tulip, Ferri, Tenera 2) to about two hours (Exomoon, Klitty).
A note on intensity
Some people worry that strong clitoral stimulation will dull sensation over time. Our article on whether a vibrator can cause desensitization looks at what the research shows.
How we chose
We started from the clitoral toys in our Vibe Picks collection and chose six that each represent a different kind of clitoral stimulation: a simple bullet, an app-controlled bullet, an air-pulse toy, a wearable, a compact wand and a licking-style combination toy. We describe them by use case, not by rank, because the right type depends on what you enjoy. Every specification comes from the maker’s own product page or user guide, checked in October 2026.
What we can’t tell you
We have not tested these products, so we can’t tell you how strong any of them feels, how loud they are in practice, how a wearable fits your body, or how reliable an app is day to day. We can’t say which type of stimulation will work best for you; that is personal. This is a shortlist from two brands, Lovense and SVAKOM, not a survey of every clitoral toy on the market.
FAQ
Is an air-pulse toy a clitoral vibrator?
Not strictly. An air-pulse toy uses changes in air pressure rather than vibration, but it is designed for the clitoris and often shopped for alongside clitoral vibrators. Tenera 2 is pure air-pulse; Klitty combines suction with vibration and a licking motion.
Which of these can I use in the bath or shower?
The five IPX7 picks are described by their makers as submersible. Klitty is IPX6, which SVAKOM describes as strong rinse resistant, so it isn’t rated for use in the bath.
Do I need an app?
Not for Tulip, which has no app. Exomoon has a control button, and SVAKOM lists built-in modes on the toy for Mini Emma Neo and Klitty. For Tenera 2 and Ferri, check the product page for what works without the app. The app adds custom patterns and lets a partner take control.
Which is best for beginners?
There isn’t one right answer. A simple bullet like Tulip has the fewest settings to learn. Our beginner guide walks through how to choose.
